Ah a pea soup day :) Those are loverly photographs. We occasionally get foggy mornings and on those days I take a particular route to work. The route is downhill and the morning fog tends to settle about half way down, it's truly a sight to behold. In front will be a bank of fog with bright sunshine above, normally the fog is so think you can barely see the tail lights of the car in front. Magical stuff.

Fog is very cool. When you look down into a valley like that it always reminds me of the mists you see in Rain Forests.

It's almost unfortunate that I have my office in my basement. I don't get to share in what the days look like. I must plan at least 1 day a week to go for a drive in the morning or something.

Dunstan -- great pics. Especially the one that included the horse. The pastel color version grabs my eye a little more than the b&w version.

I recommend it Colin. I've been robbed of my going to work adventures for the last few weeks due to extensive roadworks, and I can't wait for things to go back to normal. My place of work is at the centre of a Valley and I pretty much live at the top of one of sides of said Valley. The views I get are priceless and I'm more determined to get up early in the mornings and appreciate the beauty around me. Living very close to the Beacons National Park helps.

Have any of you seen the film The Legend of 1900? the description of New Orleans during a foggy patch makes me go all goosepimply.

Beautiful fog photos, Dunstan. Sadly, winter here is mostly too darn cold for fog to be any sort of a factor.

Wow, you're lucky. I love fog. We didn't get any where I live. Fog's great when it's really really foggy and you can't see anything :)
