    You sound just like my old boss... *weird*

    Tell us about your process! With what did you film? With what did you edit? What are you working on at Apple? Did you use any special lighting?

    ;-) It's worth a try, isn't it?

    Cute pups Dunstan, and a very cute lil film, I thought I was watching David Attenborough for a moment there... ;)

    The goofy grin in the first shot is precious ;)

    I must say that they are rather cute. And thanks for the lesson on heat lamps pal!

  7. Fatty:

    "Here's a heat lamp which ... is red..." - classic narration there :-D

    Those are once again, the cutest things ever to be seen. Plus the video rocks. Never would have expected to hear that.

    I would never give one up if they were mine, but I want one too... of course never could.

    Cute puppies.
    Nice idea to show them on film.

    My favourite line...
    "And there's a heat lamp above there which ... is red?"

    "Here's a puppy which...is white...and black..."

    Forget working at Apple - the BBC Natural History unit at Bristol needs you urgently!

    I'd like to see more of these short films Dunstan-0-Scope please.

    The puppies are adorable! Heat lamps bring back memories of orphan calves for me. Glad to see the puppies are doing so well.

    For some reason I was expecting to you have a Kent accent, even though I know you're from Dorset. Your dog having puppies must be as joyous as your brother or sister having kids, by the way you were talking about them. I could tell by your voice that you loved the wee pups. Hey, who knows, they could grow up to be in dog shows...they are quite cute!

    A fascinating insight in to the life of Dunstan!

    On a completely different note, is there any reason why you've taken your personal contributions out of the numbering sequence for the comments? Was a little confused, having been told that 17 comments had been made, to get to the bottom and be faced with a number 16... thought the exam revision was going to my head for a moment.

  19. Dunstan:

    It's a bug in Firefox, Andrew. The damn thing balks when I set a certain style on my comments and sets my numbers to zero. I never got around to working around it.

    Heh good to see :)

    Also nice to see you are a normal person and no the brain in a jar connected to a load of X-servers as I imagined ;)

    Any chance of a video of the view? would like to see it and the sheep in motion!

    Oh and the moon on a stick please.

    I too imagined a different Dunstan accent.

    Cute puppies, nice video too.

    "I'd like to see more of these short films Dunstan-0-Scope please."

    I concur!

    While other folks keep writing puppies = hamsters, I say puppies = guinea pigs.

    smiles, jen ;o)

  23. David:

    The bug is caused because you set overflow:hidden, if you just remove it it's fine:

    ol#cmnts-list li.dunstan {
    background-position: 464px 0px;
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    }

    ol#cmnts-list li.dunstan:hover {
    background-position: 412px -71px;
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    }

    I'm not sure what the overflow:hiddenw was there fore to be honest, it won't really come into play unless you post a REALLY long word or something.

  24. Dunstan:

    I think I had to use it because without it the bit of the background image that is "hidden" outside the li becomes visible. I know it shouldn't be visible, but it was. Using oveflow:hidden was the only way I could stop it appearing.

    When I get around to giving the site some attention that's one of the things I'll have to look at.

    Thanks for taking the time to look though, David. That's very kind of you.

    Awww, cute puppies. I had a dog almost 8 months ago who was 8 years old but had to be put to sleep. I know how exciting new pets can be and I now have a cute cat!
